We are searching for information on Jesse B. McClendon and his ancestors. He married
Margaret Rebecca Hutchinson from Greensburg, St. Helena Parrish, Louisiana. They lived in Greensburg and had six children;
Fannie, Estelle, Ella, Florence, Herman Perry, and W. H. He owned a grocery store, a livery stable, and was a schoool teacher. He was killed by one of his fourteen year-old students. It's possible that he was the son of Shadrack McClendon.
