Please note that this is my attempt to combined the 2 web pages that I posted for 2 ladies whose ancestors lived in the vicinity of mine in the "toe of the boot" section of Louisiana and hope that I got it right. I just subscribed to Ancestry.com for a month (after a 14-day free trail) and I believe that through the data I collected there (and elsewhere on the web) and the data these 2 ladies provided me that I've tied the 2 lines together:

I believe that Thomas Green MCCLENDON aka: T G McClendon looks a lot like my father but I've been unable to connect my line, William McCLENDON (or McLENDON), born about 1822 in SC with his.
