E. N. HATHORN or Edward Nicholas "Nick" HATHORN (Abt. 1805 in SC - 1863 in Covington Co, MS?) married Elizabeth BRYANT (Abt. 1805 in SC - Aft. 1880) Abt. 1825. They had four (4) children: Unk HATHORN, Robert C. HATHORN, Unk HATHORN, William N. HATHORN.

Robert C. HATHORN (Abt. 1825, in SC and buried in Covington Co, MS) married Keziah KNIGHT (Aft. 1850), daughter of Albert KNIGHT (Abt. 1793 in GA) and Mason RAINEY (Abt. 1805 born in NC) Abt. 1833. They had eight (8) children, including Daniel B. HATHORN.

Ollie Lucy KNIGHT ("Big Moma"?) married Elbert WOMACK or WOMACH ("Big Poppa"). They had a daughter: Dorothy WOMACK (of Crossroads, MS; married a HUMPHREYs). I last saw Dorothy WOMACK in a nursing home near Crossroads, MS in about 1992 when my grandmother "Sallie" LOTT Hathorne took me to visit her. I heard later that she was released from the nursing home.

Later, Robert Lamar LOTT, Sr. (July 17, 1889 - died in tornado on Nov 26, 1926; see his death certificate) married Ollie Lucy KNIGHT (April 05, 1896 - ?). Lucy Olive "Ollie" KNIGHT parents were: James Pounds KNIGHT (see his death certificate June 21, 2007) and Corlinne Emmaline STOGNER. She was referred to as "Big Moma" and he may have been referred to as "Big Daddy"? See: Ancestral File for Lucy Olive KNIGHT at LDS's Family Search. They had several children:

Sarah "Sallie or Sally" Elizabeth LOTT (April 16, 1911 in Sandy Hook, Marion Co., MS - Sept. 6, 1994) did not have a birth certificate). She survived the tornado.
Ouida LOTT (Sep 07, 1912 - Jan 07, 1929; see her death certificate June 21, 2007). I don't know anything about Ouida LOTT but she may have been killed in a tornado with her father. See her photo, below.
Shelby Lamar LOTT (June 22, 1914 - Nov. 7, 1988). He survived the tornado and married Pearl Brewer March and they had children: Butch, Susan, and ... They live in or around Bogalusa, LA.
Laxter or Laxita LOTT (1916) and Robert LOTT, Jr. (Abt. 1919). She survived the tornado. See her photo, below.

My grandmother, Sarah "Sallie or Sally" Elizabeth LOTT married Truman HATHORNE (Dec. 18, 1907 - Oct. 3, 1974, born in Taylorville, MS in Covington Co. and now called Smith Co.) on June 1, 1930. They lived most of their lives in Bogalusa, LA. They had four children:

Geraldine Hathorne (Feb. 22, 1932 - Nov.6, 1964) my mother, who I did not know, married John Eugene McCLENDON, Sr. (March 14, 1929 - ) about 1948. They had two children: John Eugene McCLENDON, Jr. (February 08, 1949 - ) and me, Patricia Darlene McCLENDON (August 07, 1950 - );
Janet Sue Hathorne (Abt. 1934 - ) married Jerry Maxon Applewhite, twice. They had two sons: "Max", Maximillian APPLEWHITE (1956 - ) and Vernon Wayne APPLEWHITE (Abt. 1958). Click here to see Vernon's picture. Janet Sue had a few more marriages: ... William Burkett ... Dan Quirk ... ;
Robert David Hathorne (Abt. 1935 - ) married Patsy KENNEDY. They had three children: Robert David Hathorne, "Sissy" Hathorne, Dirk or Derk Hathorne); and
Brenda Sue Hathorne (Abt. 1936 - ) married "J. W.", John W. Magee. They had two daughters: Tamela "Tammy" Magee and Pamela "Pam" Magee).

Truman Hathorne's parents were Sol Hathorne (See My HATHORNEs) married Oma (Omer or Amer) White. They had several children: Woodrow, Mary Esther, R. V., Minnie, and Truman (my grandfather).
